Who We Serve
Children & Teens
From first words to complex conversation skills, we support children through every stage of communication development. Whether your child is late to talk, struggles with pronunciation, has difficulty understanding language, or faces social communication challenges, we're here to help them find their voice.
Adults
Communication challenges don't end in childhood. Whether you're recovering from a stroke, managing a progressive neurological condition, seeking voice therapy for professional or personal reasons, or working through fluency concerns, we provide expert, evidence-based care tailored to your adult life.
Families
We recognize that communication challenges affect the whole family. That's why we equip parents, caregivers, and family members with strategies, education, and support to continue progress beyond our therapy sessions.

Conditions We Treat
Aphasia
Aphasia occurs when brain injury (often from stroke) affects your ability to communicate. We help individuals regain language skills, find alternative ways to express themselves, and rebuild confidence in daily communication. Our aphasia therapy focuses on functional communication goals that matter most to you—whether that's ordering at a restaurant, talking with grandchildren, or returning to work.
Apraxia (Acquired and Childhood Apraxia of Speech)
Apraxia makes it difficult to plan and coordinate the movements needed for speech, even though you know what you want to say. For children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), we use intensive, evidence-based approaches like dynamic temporal and tactile cueing. For adults with acquired apraxia, we focus on motor planning strategies and functional communication.
Articulation & Phonological Disorders
Does your child substitute sounds, leave sounds off words, or have speech that's hard to understand? Articulation and phonological disorders affect speech clarity. We identify the specific sound patterns causing difficulty and use play-based, motivating activities to help children produce clear, confident speech.
Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC)
Not everyone communicates with spoken words—and that's okay. AAC includes everything from picture boards and communication books to high-tech speech-generating devices and apps. We evaluate, recommend, and train individuals and families in AAC systems that give every person a voice, no matter their ability to speak.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Children and adults with autism often have unique communication profiles. We support social communication skills, functional language development, pragmatic language use, play skills, and alternative communication methods. Our neurodiversity-affirming approach honors each person's communication style while building skills that support connection and independence.
Feeding & Swallowing Disorders
Safe, enjoyable eating is fundamental to quality of life. We assess and treat feeding difficulties in children (picky eating, texture aversions, oral motor delays) and swallowing disorders in adults (dysphagia following stroke, neurological conditions, or aging). Our feeding therapy is sensory-based, family-centered, and never forceful.
Expressive & Receptive Language Disorders
Language is more than just speech sounds—it's understanding what others say (receptive language) and expressing your own thoughts (expressive language). We help children and adults who struggle with vocabulary, grammar, following directions, answering questions, telling stories, or understanding complex language.
Feeding Disorders involve so much more than simply eating—it's a complex process that requires sensory awareness, oral motor coordination, and confidence with new textures and tastes. At our clinic, we support babies and children who have difficulty transitioning to solid foods, show signs of oral motor weakness or discoordination, or experience stress and avoidance around eating. Using evidence-based approaches such as sensory-based feeding and the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach, we help families make mealtimes more positive and successful. Whether your child is a cautious eater or has a true feeding disorder, we create individualized plans to help them build the skills they need to enjoy a wider variety of foods safely and comfortably.
Fluency Disorders (Stuttering)
Stuttering affects the rate and tension in one's speech. Whether you're a child just beginning to stutter or an adult who has stuttered for years, we provide supportive, evidence-based stuttering therapy. We help you speak more fluently when you want to, manage stuttering when it occurs, and most importantly, communicate confidently without fear or shame.
Motor Speech Disorders
Motor speech disorders like dysarthria affect the muscles used for speaking, making speech sound slurred, slow, or effortful. We work on breath support, articulation precision, rate control, and vocal quality to improve speech intelligibility and communication effectiveness. We use evidenced based treatment such as the SPEAK OUT! program for Parkinson's.
Social Pragmatic Language Disorders
Understanding social cues, taking turns in conversation, reading body language, using tone—these pragmatic language skills are essential for building relationships. We help children and adults navigate the unwritten rules of social communication through real-world practice, video modeling, and perspective-taking activities.
Voice & Resonance Disorders
Your voice is your signature. When hoarseness, vocal strain, pitch concerns, or resonance issues affect your voice, it can impact your confidence and quality of life. We treat vocal nodules, vocal cord dysfunction, muscle tension dysphonia, and other voice disorders using evidence-based voice therapy techniques.

Our Speech Therapy Approach
Evidence-Based & Individualized
We stay current with the latest research and use proven therapy techniques, but we never lose sight of what matters most: your unique needs, preferences, and goals.
Family-Centered Care
Families are partners in therapy. We provide education, coaching, and home practice activities so progress continues beyond our sessions.
Play-Based & Engaging (for children)
Kids learn best through play. Our pediatric therapy sessions are fun, motivating, and designed to keep children engaged while building critical skills.
Functional & Goal-Oriented
We don't work on skills in isolation. Every goal is tied to real-life communication needs—whether that's participating in preschool, ordering coffee independently, or giving a presentation at work.
Compassionate & Affirming
We create a safe, supportive environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and empowered. We celebrate progress of all sizes and honor each person's communication journey.
